What exactly is a Co-op? Explore the dynamic world of cooperatives and learn how they foster community growth and resilience. This On Demand workshop, “Co-ops & the Alaska Cooperative Development Center (ACDC),” will provide a thorough introduction to how co-ops function, the different types of co-ops, and how ACDC supports their development across Alaska.
During this 27-minute On Demand workshop, you will learn:
- what a cooperative (co-op) is;
- the seven (7) principles of cooperatives;
- the various types of co-ops;
- examples of different types of co-ops in Alaska and nationwide;
- when to consider the cooperative business model;
- what makes the co-op model work; and
- what ACDC does and how they can help.
