Strong financial projections are more than a requirement for lenders – they’re one of the best tools for evaluating whether your business idea is financially viable. This workshop walks participants through the key components of financial projections, including revenue forecasting, cost of goods sold, operating expenses, payroll, cash flow, break-even analysis, and financial stress testing. Whether you’re launching a new business or expanding an existing one, you’ll gain practical skills for building financial confidence.

During this workshop, you’ll learn how to:

Understand the purpose of financial projections for loans, grants, and business planning.
Estimate startup costs, operating expenses, and industry-specific costs.
Build realistic sales and revenue forecasts.
Calculate Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), gross profit, and net income.
Plan for payroll, owner’s compensation, and cash flow management.
Conduct break-even and financial stress-test analyses.
Identify reliable data sources, including IBISWorld, Vertical IQ, and ProfitCents, to support your assumptions.
