Join us on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm for “Getting Down to Business:  Local Rules, Resources, & Readiness – Wasilla.”  This FREE In Person workshop is being offered at the Mat-Su Small Business Development Center (Mat-Su SBDC) Training Room in Wasilla, Alaska, and is moderated by our very own Misty O’Connor, Center Director at the Mat-Su SBDC.

For this engaging and action-packed workshop, Mat-Su Center Director Misty O’Connor has assembled a team of leaders and professionals to answer questions every small business owner has about starting or growing their business, leasing or buying land or a building, and all the nuts and bolts behind the scenes of business operations. This workshop is jam-packed with all the right people to:

• Equip new business owners with critical knowledge on zoning, permitting, insurance, financing, and compliance before they launch.
• Provide direct access to local leaders and professionals, so participants know who to call and why it matters.
