As part of Alaska Entrepreneurship Week, join us for an event centered around empowering Alaska Natives and highlighting resources available to help facilitate entrepreneurship opportunities.
At 3:00 PM, there will be welcome networking and introductions, followed by a panel meeting at 3:30 PM.
The panel’s theme is to highlight successful entrepreneurial stories among Alaska Natives, bring awareness of available resources, which may include programs offered by Native Corps, government officials, or other organizations like Alaska Small Business Development Center (AK SBDC), and help identify mentors or peer support groups for pursuing their entrepreneurial journey.
Panelists include:
Norma Lucero, Economic Development Specialist, Public Information Officer, Small Business Administration (SBA)
Jon Bittner, Executive Director, Alaska Small Business Development Center (AK SBDC)
Jamieann Bell, Co-Owner of Arctic Moon Bakery and Program Manager of Anchorage Community Land Trust’s Indigenous People’s Set Up Shop (IPSUS)
We hope to see you there!
